The Collabora Online plugin for Moodle enables teachers and students to edit office documents directly within Moodle. Documents, spreadsheets, and presentations can be opened and edited online, allowing multiple users to work on the same document in real time.

The plugin allows teachers to add a live Collabora Online document editor to their Moodle courses. This enables students and teachers to collaborate on course materials and assignments without leaving the Moodle environment.

The Moodle integration was initiated by Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin, now Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT). The project was developed in cooperation with the University of Münster, with the plugin development carried out by Davo Smith from Synergy Learning.
